Kim Chapman is the founder and president of Network Services. Kim has more than 30 years’ experience leading technology organizations.  She began her technology career in 1983 as one of the founders of BTI (now Earthlink), a fast growing telecommunications provider and was quickly elevated to the executive team as EVP Marketing and Customer Relations.

Kim was named President of FiberSouth in 1994. FiberSouth deployed fiber communications throughout the Triangle area for the purpose of giving clients a fiber based alternative access to their chosen telecommunications carriers.. Seeing an opportunity in the marketplace in 1996, Kim founded Network Services, Inc.   Under Kim’s leadership Network Services Inc has grown from representing 7 vendors to over 150 worldwide. The added value of Customer Services direct from NSI has been instrumental in providing our clients with exceptional managed services in a complicated technology environment.

Kim has been very active in her community by providing both leadership and support.  She served as Chairwoman of NC Tech, one of the largest technology associations in the U.S. with more than 650 member companies.  Additionally, Kim supports cancer research, camps for military families and is a former Board member of the Northridge County Club.  Kim is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Communications.
